At sea, “turn it off and on again” isn’t a plan.
We design and install onboard networks, IT and AV for motor yachts — systems that assume a component will fail mid-charter and carry on anyway. High-availability firewalls, multi-WAN failover across VSAT, Starlink and cellular, segregated crew and guest networks, and entertainment worthy of the owner’s deck.
Break a WAN yourself — safely →Designed for the worst week of the season.
A vessel’s network earns its keep when something breaks: a firewall fails during a charter, the VSAT drops mid-crossing, a guest device floods the Wi-Fi. We design for those days — active-passive firewall pairs that fail over in seconds, uplink policies that reroute traffic automatically, and spares strategies agreed with the ETO before departure, not after.
Everything ships with documentation the crew can actually use: topology drawings, labelled patching, failover runbooks and handover sessions with whoever keeps the systems alive at sea. Discretion is standard — vessel names stay off this website, and NDAs are signed without ceremony.
Do you travel to the vessel?
Yes. We’re London-based and work worldwide by arrangement — design and preparation happen remotely, installation and commissioning happen wherever the vessel is berthed or in yard. Remote support afterwards is designed in from the start.
Can you work with our ETO rather than replacing them?
That’s the preferred model. The ETO knows the vessel; we bring the network and systems engineering. We design together, document everything in their language, and hand over runbooks so day-to-day operation stays onboard.
The boat already has a system that "mostly works". Where do we start?
With an audit. We map what exists, test the failover paths that have never actually been tested, and give you a written report: what’s solid, what’s a risk, and what it costs to fix — sequenced around your charter calendar, not ours.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Vessel and owner names never appear in our marketing — the project on this site is described only by length and scope. NDAs are welcome and usual. References can be arranged privately between parties.
Refit window coming up, or a system that needs a straight audit?
Tell us the vessel size, the symptom and the timeline. We’ll respond within one working day — discreetly.
