Tautiss / XP — 05

Don’t read it. Press it.

Our drawings usually live in handover packs. This one is wired to your screen instead of a house. Fire a scene, stream some music, leave home and watch the house cover for you — then cut a yacht’s internet, test the VLANs, and find out who really owns your Microsoft 365.

XP — 05.AA residence, live

One press. The whole house answers.

Fire a scene on the keypad, stream from the touchscreen, or press the things themselves — lights, blinds, TV, air conditioning, the skylight, the gate. Make it rain and watch the roof shut itself. The log shows what the controller is doing, exactly like a real handover.

In a real project the keypad is engraved metal by your door, the touchscreen sits where the family gathers, and the log is our commissioning screen. Everything above runs identically on Control4 or Crestron — that choice is made at survey, for your project, not ours.

In real life, this is one press

Engraved keypads where your hand already goes, touchscreens where the family gathers, one app for everything — and the same remote for TV, music and lights.

It runs in the rack, not the cloud

Control4 and Crestron both process scenes locally. Internet down? Lights, audio, blinds and door entry carry on — you saw the rack in the drawing for a reason.

Automation, not just remote control

The presence sensor lit the landing by itself, and rain closed the skylight before anyone noticed the weather. The best systems act before you reach for a switch.

The cinema is one scene deep

Film dropped the blind, faded the lights and lit the screen — in a real media room it also loads Dirac-calibrated 5.4.4 Atmos. See how we build those →

XP — 05.BA vessel’s worst day

Now break a yacht’s internet. Go on.

This is the edge network we install at sea — and in businesses that can’t afford downtime. Cut the Starlink mid-charter. Fail a firewall. Then try to reach the bridge from the guest network and watch the policy say no.

XP — 05.CYour Microsoft 365, honestly

Four questions. One uncomfortable answer.

Most small firms don’t know who actually owns their email until the day it matters. Answer honestly — nothing is recorded, nothing is sent. If the verdict stings, project file PR — 03 shows what the rescue looks like.

ANSWER THE FOUR QUESTIONS

Tap each line to toggle yes / no. Be honest — your provider isn’t watching.

XP — 05.C+Add-on · spot the phish

This email lands on a Monday. Find all four tells.

Stolen passwords come from emails like this one, and a phished password plus a “no” on MFA above is game over. Tap the four things that give it away — everything you find gets explained.
