Plain English, like everything else here: by using tautiss.co.uk you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. They govern this website only — any services we provide for you are contracted separately, under a written quotation and our terms of business. If you don’t agree with these terms, please don’t use the site.

Tautiss Ltd is registered in England & Wales, company number 17061393, with its registered office at 21 Edmett Way, Maidstone, ME17 3FA. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, reference ZC196405. You can reach us at info@tautiss.co.uk or on 020 4591 6730.
The content of this site — including service descriptions, budget ranges, indicative prices, timescales and project examples — is provided for information and is an invitation to enquire, not an offer capable of acceptance. Our services are provided only under a written quotation and the terms of business supplied with it, which together form the contract for any work we do.
If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights — including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — are unaffected by these terms. Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, for example to contracts concluded in your home, the applicable cancellation rights and required information are provided with the quotation.
If you send us material with an enquiry — floor plans, photographs, briefs — you confirm you are entitled to share it. We use it to assess and respond to your enquiry, as described in our privacy policy, and we claim no ownership of it.
You may view this site, and print or save excerpts, for your own personal or internal business reference. You must not: use the site unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, the server it lives on, or any connected system; probe, scan or test it for vulnerabilities without authorisation; interfere with its operation or impose an unreasonable load on it; scrape, harvest or bulk-download its content or code by any automated means; misuse the contact form, including for unlawful, deceptive or bulk messages; or misrepresent any affiliation with us. We may restrict or block access to the site — for example, abusive or automated traffic — without notice.
Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome — our disclosure contact is published at /.well-known/security.txt.

Control4, Crestron, Ubiquiti, UniFi, Fortinet, FortiGate, Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Denon, Marantz, Dirac Live, Sony, LG, Epson, Bowers & Wilkins, Triad, HDANYWHERE, Kordz, Starlink and all other product and company names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used to describe the equipment and platforms we work with. Their appearance here does not imply endorsement of Tautiss by those companies, or any partnership or certification beyond what we expressly state.
The interactive Experience — the house, the yacht failover simulation, the Microsoft 365 checklist and the phishing exercise — exists to illustrate how integrated systems behave. It is simplified by design. It is not a design, a specification, a survey, or professional advice, and no real system should be planned, purchased or configured in reliance on it. The Microsoft 365 checklist runs entirely in your browser and records nothing. Real projects start with a survey, not a webpage.
We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and current, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, content may change or become outdated without notice — equipment specifications, platform capabilities and standards evolve — and we don’t warrant that the site is complete, current or error-free. Content on this site — including any guides or articles we publish — is general information, not professional advice tailored to your circumstances, and should not be relied on as such. Anything that matters to a decision should be confirmed with us directly.
Where this site says we reply within one working day, that is the standard we hold ourselves to, not a contractual commitment. Working days are business days in England. If we’re ever slower, we’ll be sorry — but not in breach.
This site may link to websites we don’t operate. Links are provided for convenience; we don’t control those sites, and we’re not responsible for their content, security or practices.
This site is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, for information. We apply substantial security measures to it, but we don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and you are responsible for protecting your own device and software.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that: this website is provided free of charge for information, and to the fullest extent the law permits we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on its content or from any interruption to its availability, including indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected. Nothing in these terms limits or affects any rights or remedies you have under a contract for our services, which is governed by its own terms.
Payment-diversion fraud is common in our industry: criminals impersonate installers by email and send convincing invoices with changed bank details. Three standing rules protect you. Our only website is tautiss.co.uk and our email addresses end in @tautiss.co.uk. We never notify a change of bank details by email alone — treat any such message as fraudulent until verified. And before paying an invoice for the first time, or after any notified change of details, verify the account by telephone on 020 4591 6730, using the number from this website rather than one in the email.
We cannot accept responsibility for payments made to accounts that were not verified through these channels.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top is the version that applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force. A failure to enforce any part of them is not a waiver. These terms do not create rights enforceable by anyone other than you and us under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this website — save that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections, and the right to bring proceedings, under the law of your home nation.
